Each person can help Crisis Connection make a difference in the life of a person in crisis. "Crisis Connection helped my wife through a very hard time last fall. I wanted to do something in return for such a needed service in our community." – Anonymous 1999 donor Crisis Connection depends on contributions to support the community's free crisis hotline. Contributions can come in the form of annual financial gifts or considering Crisis Connection in one's will. Each donation can make a big difference to someone in crisis. Volunteers and staff struggle to answer all calls on the first call. Many times there are just too many calls and not enough people. We are seeking contribution dollars to assist us with recruiting more volunteers and hiring staff during late night hours where it is difficult to find volunteers. More than 10,000 calls went unanswered last year. |
Crisis Connection is also constantly seeking gifts in kind such as professional services and a
wide range of products and equipment. Donations or in-kind gifts allows Crisis Connection
the opportunity to spend money on only the most necessary items.
